Historical bike race of Alpe di Poti

L’Ardita features tree routes :

Route Gourmet 30 km
Suitable for cyclists of all levels this easy route also offers the opportunity to savour some culinary delights and fine wine of the this beautiful part of Tuscany.
Route Classic 50 km
Suitable for cyclists of all levels this easy route also offers the opportunity to savour some culinary delights and fine wine of the this beautiful part of Tuscany.
L’Ardita 80 km
Initially follows the Gourmet route but as the riders head back towards Arezzo they will take on Alpe di Poti (Giro d’Italia 2016) riding through some classically beautiful Tuscan countryside. The GPM at the top of the climb will also give the opportunity to take on some refreshments and sample some local delicacies and wine!
On request, riders will have the opportunity to take on the clock in the Alpe di Poti time trial!.

All courses are fully signposted and each rider will be given a map of the routes when registering for the event.

L’ARDITA is organized for vintage style bikes and mountain bikes, both with gears and without, produced up to the 1980s.

La bellezza di Arezzo si mostra in questo filmato.
Partendo da Via Ricasoli di fronte al Duomo di Arezzo, costeggiando "il Prato" e la Fortezza Medicea prenderà il via "La Cronoscalata dell'Alpe di Poti".
Durante il percorso troveremo luoghi ed atmosfere di altri tempi, come la Torre del ladro Gnicche oppure la chiesa di San Polo dove vengono alla memoria gli eccidi della seconda guerra mondiale. Il tracciato si inerpica poi nella salita panoramica che porta all'Alpe di Poti mostrando la bellezza delle foreste che circondano Arezzo. L'arrivo sarà coronato da un ampio ristoro prima di procedere al rientro nel centro storico della città.
